Book NDCWales Presents Open Rehearsals Wednesday 15 January 2025 1 hour During the creation process you can pop in for an hour and discover what we have been working on in the rehearsal. You can see the choreographer and dancers in action creating new dance pieces, taking some of the mystery out of how we make our shows and giving a real behind-the-scenes taste. You’ll also get to ask questions at the end. You’re welcome to sketch or simply soak in the rehearsal. Join us for an Open Rehearsal at the Dance House, Wales Millennium Centre – home of National Dance Company Wales. Get a behind the scenes look at how dance is made as we open the rehearsal room doors to the public. National Dance Company Wales are a charity who aim to make dance available to everyone in Wales, as such you can attend this event for free, and are welcome to do so. If attending either for free or by paying-what-you-feel, please book a ticket so that we know you're coming as seats are limited Open Rehearsal for Infinity Duet by Faye Tan and Cecile Johnson Soliz – a collaboration of dance, sculpture, drawing and sound. “The sculpture can't help but yield to gravity, and neither can their bodies. Two people deal with time and weight in this brief reverie.” After working together during our Laboratori project on 2022, Faye and Cecile are now creating a short, full scale work that gives sculpture, drawing and movement equal importance on stage.
