Keeping Fit and mentally active during lockdown Limited exercise and being disconnected from the studio is a challenge for our team. Over the last few weeks our dancers have tried to stay connected through online classes, rehearsals and performance of our live stream of 2067: Time and Time and Time by Alexandra Waierstall; creating content for our new online digital programme, KiN:Connected as well as taking part in Company Class with BBC’s Culture in Quarantine. A few weeks ago our company dancer, Camille Giraudeau, shared with the Telegraph some of things she has been doing to stay active. As well as doing barre and yoga, she has also been inspired to take up 5k runs. She also spoke to the Telegraph about re-creating Alexandra Waierstall’s 2067: Time and Time and Time again from her living room, while her colleagues join her from their own homes in isolation. She said to Mark Monahan at the Telegraph, “It was a reminder, a taste of what we used to do, to celebrate the fact that we could do something, and carry on connecting with our audience.” You can read the full article ‘Staying Fit in Lockdown’ on the Telegraph website (please note you must be signed in on a free account to read the full article).
