Angharad Jones Mold After growing up on the North Wales coast, Angharad moved to Scotland to train at Ballet West in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Whilst training she gained valuable performing and touring experience with the schools company, touring Scotland and China with productions of Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. Angharad was also a member of National Youth Dance Wales as a student under the direction of Errol White, Theo Clinkard and Odette Hughes. Angharad has been based in North Wales as a freelance dance artist over the past five years and has worked on various projects as a dancer most recently with Little Light Dance and Digital Theatre on their production ‘The Flying Bedroom’ and Orphaned Limbs Collective on ‘When In Roam’. Angaharad also regularly works as a dancer and teacher with Vertical Dance Kate Lawrence and has previously worked with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru on ‘Dawns Ysbrydion’ choreographed by Sarah Williams and Eddie Ladd. Angharad is also passionate about delivering dance education to people of all ages and regularly facilitates creative dance sessions in a variety of settings. Angharad has recently started a new post at Theatr Clwyd as their Creative Engagement Associate for Dance and is looking forward to bring dance opportunities to the people of Flintshire.
