Explore new worlds through dance.

Discover three new worlds spanning from ancient mythology through to futuristic sci-fi.  National Dance Company Wales will transport you through story, time and space with this triple-bill of captivating dance, and gorgeous design.

Get inspired by ‘Infinity Duet’, a unique collaboration between choreographer Faye Tan and artist Cecile Johnson Soliz whose sketch-covered costumes and swinging sculpture take centre stage alongside warm, soulful movement exploring weight and time.

Be mesmerised by Marcos Morau’s ‘Waltz’, which has dazzled audiences across Europe. Glittering, otherworldly beings move across a stark white landscape with razor-sharp precision.
A dystopian sci-fi adventure into chaos, order and control, hailed as “utterly compelling” by the Times.

Finally, be transported on a quest to discover ‘Mabon’ by Osian Meilir.
Experience the Mabinogion in a new light as you journey through ancient Wales to meet the world’s oldest animals.
Tradition twists with wild imagination in this modern myth. Fantastical costumes and rebellious choreography are interwoven with heritage, folklore and mystery. Inspired by the magical realms of Welsh mythology and set to new music by Welsh triple harpist Cerys Hafana.

Infinity Duet by Faye Tan and Cecile Johnson Soliz

Two people deal with weight and time in this warm, soulful duet that weaves together drawing, sculpture, dance and sound in a unique collaboration.

"Performers move fluidly around a large moving swing in the centre of the stage, reflecting a huge level of technical skill on their part, but also evoking the gleeful risk-taking involved in any great piece of art.
