4X10

4X10 was one of the landmark projects in our 40th year. It was an important new concept within our programme, enabling the production and presentation of distinctive new work by our Artistic Associates and guest artists.

4X10 was one of the landmark projects in our 40th year. It was an important new concept within our programme, enabling the production and presentation of distinctive new work by our Artistic Associates and guest artists.

These four new works were from artists who are shaping perceptions of contemporary Wales – each in different ways and from different perspectives.

It was also a platform to elevate the young talent that exists in NDCWales’ Young Associates programme, placing them alongside the professional company of dancers, and providing the unique opportunity to co-create with Matthew Robinson, NDCWales Artistic Director.

4X10 was just one aspect of the dance we make and share with people across Wales and the world. From dancing with people who live with Parkinson’s to inspiring young people to try dance for themselves, we dance to enable people to express ideas beyond words. If you share a passion for dance, join us here.

We offer sincere thanks to the Arts Council of Wales, the trustees of the Colwinston Charitable Trust, the Darkley Trust and the Leche Trust for supporting 4x10. Thanks also to our much valued Lifft supporters.
