NDCWales Presents PARTi November 2022 Dance, drag, cake, disco balls and live music A unique night out with dance at it’s heart! In November 2022, NDCWales took a unique PARTi to The Welfare in Ystradgynlais and Theatr y Glowyr in Ammanford. A great night out of dance performed, devised and co-created with Welsh communities. PARTi is a collaboration which transforms venues for a multi-dimensional night out of dance, music, food and drink for people of all ages. PARTi is a night out for everyone. PARTi included three bitesize dance works, NO-SHOW by NDCWales’ Artistic Director Matthew Robinson, Fan the Flames by Thomas Carsley (BBC Young Dancer Finalist) and And There Were People, co-created by a local cast of performers, NDCWales dancers and choreographer Emily Robinson. Audiences were then invited to join live Welsh folk band Allan yn y Fan, and the whole PARTi cast, for a traditional Twmpath. PARTi was hosted by Welsh cabaret queen Connie Orff who kept the PARTi flowing. NO-SHOW by Matthew Robinson Performed by Bianca Mikahil and Euan Stephen They were ready to party, but nobody else was. And there were people Co-created by Emily Robinson & Cast In the dream, there was a party, he knew that much. It was surreal but at the same time everyone looked real, felt real.
