Dancer

I come from Singapore and trained at the Singapore Ballet Academy, School of The Arts Singapore, Rambert School and VERVE (Postgraduate performance company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance). I was a company dancer in Frontier Danceland (Singapore) for three years, then joined NDCWales in the summer of 2019. I have performed work by a variety of choreographers including Shahar Binyamini, Marcos Morau, Alexandra Waierstall, Caroline Finn, Andrea Costanzo Martini, Anton Lachky, Nigel Charnock and Richard Chappell. I have created dance films which have been screened in film festivals in the UK and Singapore, and have been commissioned to choreograph works for School of The Arts Singapore, Frontier Danceland, NDCWales and VERVE. My education and outreach work in dance includes facilitating youth training programmes such as Frontier Danceland's Pulse programme and the NDCWales Associates programme, as well as being involved in community engagement work with Richard Chappell Dance.

I studied at the School of The Arts (SOTA) in Singapore before pursuing full-time vocational training at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington, New Zealand, where I had the pleasure of performing in works by Amber Haines, Sarah Foster-Sproull, Michael Parmenter and Hofesh Shechter. Upon graduating I worked with Humanhood Company from 2018 through to 2019, performing in their first group piece ‘Torus’. In early 2020 I joined Shechter II, touring ‘Political Mother: Unplugged’ around Europe in the autumn/winter of 2021.

Dancer

I grew up in Italy and I started dancing from a young age at Vic Ballet Academy in Verona alongside performing for a local theatre company. I trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, graduating with a first class BA (Hons) in 2020. During my time at Rambert School, I had the chance to work with choreographers including Christopher Bruce (performing at Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House), Mark Bruce, Arielle Smith and Thick and Tight. I also had the opportunity to perform my own work at the Lilian Baylis Studio at Sadler's Wells. I then joined VERVE, the postgraduate company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance, in 2021, touring works by Matthew William Robinson, Caroline Finn, Botis Seva and Barnaby Booth.

Dancer

I graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a BA Honours, in my final year I had the privilege of working with the choreographers Leah Marojevic, Simone Mousset and Richard Alston in new creations performed on different mediums from the stage to digital. Prior to this from 2014-2017 I was a member of National Youth Dance Company working with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Michael Keegan-Dolan and Damien Jalet in tour across England and premiering each work on Sadlers Wells main stage, an incredible experience for me as a young dancer. From 2013-2017 I participated in Dance4 C.A.T programme which I credit with introducing me to the wider world of contemporary dance. Following a year as a work-based learner at NDCWales, I am pleased to be performing with the company as part of the autumn and spring programmes.

I was born in Perth, Western Australia and began my first full time dance training at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. I later completed 3 more years of study at the New Zealand School of Dance as a contemporary major.
While studying I was taught by notable mentors including James O’Hara, Alice Lee Holland and Victoria Colombus and I performed works by Damien Jalet and Huang Yi.

I grew up in Bristol where I first began my contemporary training with RISE Youth Dance. At 17 I joined the National Youth Dance Company where I toured and performed work by Botis Seva. I then went on to graduate from London Contemporary Dance School BA (Hons). Here I was involved in the creation and performance of works by Liam Francis, Sam Coren and Clod Ensemble, as well as the Trisha Brown Company whilst in my Erasmus semester at Conservatoire National Supérieur (CNSMDP) in Paris.
