Matthew Robinson GO Production Info 4X10 Made for 4X10 by/gan Matthew Robinson 4X10 was one of the landmark projects in our 40th year. It was an important new concept within our programme, enabling the production and presentation of distinctive new work by our Artistic Associates and guest artists. These four new works are from artists who are shaping perceptions of contemporary Wales – each in different ways and from different perspectives. For many years Matthew danced for Scottish Dance Theatre. In 2013 he was invited to take on the responsibilities of Rehearsal Director, supporting the dancers and guest artists in their creative process, and the company on multiple international tours. Matthew was appointed Artistic Director of VERVE in 2016. Matthew creates his own artistic work in independent, collaborative and commissioned contexts. As an artist he seeks to translate contradictions and complex feelings, through boldly physical and emotionally-layered choreographic construction. Gallery
