Sarah 'Riz' Golden Dancer Originally from Bristol, I found contemporary dance through RISE Youth Dance and National Youth Dance Company. I continued my training at London Contemporary Dance School (BA (Hons)), Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and Northern School of Contemporary Dance (MA). During my studies I worked with Clod Ensemble, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Botis Seva, Sam Coren and Liam Francis. Professionally I have collaborated and performed work by choreographers and companies such as Theatr Cymru, Osian Meilir, Richard Chappell and Scherzo Ensemble. As a freelancer I have pursued work across dance, film and fashion - on commercial, editorial and independent projects. This includes collaborating with artists such as Alexandra Green and Nozomi Yamanami, appearing in Acne Paper and at London Fashion Week. I have been on Sadler's Wells Young Persons’ Board for the past two years. I first joined National Dance Company Wales as an apprentice in 2023 and have performed and toured work by Marcos Morau, Lea Anderson, Faye Tan and Osian Meilir with the company.
