Riz Golden Professional Placement Student I grew up in Bristol where I first began my contemporary training with RISE Youth Dance. At 17 I joined the National Youth Dance Company where I toured and performed work by Botis Seva. I then went on to graduate from London Contemporary Dance School BA (Hons). Here I was involved in the creation and performance of works by Liam Francis, Sam Coren and Clod Ensemble, as well as the Trisha Brown Company whilst in my Erasmus semester at Conservatoire National Supérieur (CNSMDP) in Paris. Upon graduating I freelanced in London, working primarily across dance, film and fashion with artists such as Alexandra Green, Sattva Ninja and Nozomi Yamanami. NDCWales is providing me ample space to learn and grow and I am excited by what is to come.
