Dawns i Bawb are very pleased to announce the development of a new Youth Dance Initiative in partnership with National Dance Company Wales Dawns i Bawb are very pleased to announce the development of a new Youth Dance Initiative in partnership with National Dance Company Wales. This development will be an exciting addition to their dance provision for young dancers 11-25 years across North West Wales through the establishment of a ‘North West Wales Youth Dance Company’ that will aim to offer the following to young dancers of the area: - provide a progressive route of dance skills development for those young dancers that wish to receive a more advanced training in dance technique, choreography and performance - monthly workshops with NDCWales’ Dance Ambassadors for North Wales - performance opportunities with Dawns i Bawb and NDCWales - support for young dancers that are considering dance as a career The Company will meet monthly in Llandudno and will begin by creating work to perform as a ‘curtain raiser’ at NDCWales’ performance at Galeri, Caernarfon on 26 November. The youth dance company will be open to all young people throughout Gwynedd, Conwy and Anglesey who are interested in developing their dance skills and experiences. Catherine Young, Artistic Director for Dawns i Bawb said: "I am very pleased that Dawns i Bawb has the opportunity to work alongside our National Dance Company to develop opportunities for young dancers throughout North West Wales.
